Biography
I am a first year PhD student of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M, and a member of the ESP lab. Currently, I am investigating the application of dry-contact electrodes, optical sensors, and epidermal sensors (electronic tattoos, or e-tattoos) for monitoring of vital healthcare biomarkers for clinical applications. By leveraging machine learning models and signal processing techniques on bioelectrical signals, we hope to extract more information about human physiology to make these hardware-based benchtop setups fundamentally relevant for real-world, clinical solutions in the form factor of wearable devices.
