Biography

Peiyun Wu is a research engineer in the ESP lab at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Prior to joining ESP, she was a senior software engineer and firmware design engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 1999 to 2020. Her experience is in software and firmware design, low-level driver development, and communication protocols development in embedded systems. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Automatic Control at Zhejiang University. Her research interests include developing wearable systems and applying IoT technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning to embedded systems.
